The Nurani Dunia Foundation is an Indonesian organization engaged in humanitarian assistance, education and peacebuilding programs in Indonesia. Nurani Dunia was founded by a group of concerned scholars and journalists in 1999 when there was a need for non-governmental humanitarian assistance to victims of social conflict in Indonesia. Since its founding, Nurani Dunia has grown to become an internationally respected Indonesian NGO, dedicated to aiding victims of natural disaster and social conflict in Indonesia, and improving the welfare of disadvantaged communities through participatory development. Nurani Dunia is a diverse, non-partisan organization with members and volunteers of many different ethnicities and religious backgrounds.
